Each Akupanel FR panel features fifteen veneered slats mounted over a recycled PET acoustic backing. Panels measure 600 × 2400 mm (23 5/8" × 94 1/2") and are 20 mm (13/16") thick. The system combines PET polyester fiber, MDF, and real wood veneer, with the PET and wooden substrate materials listed as Class A. Interlam reports an NRC of 0.87 for the current Akupanel FR construction.
