Brown — Sample

Aluwood Brown is a classic mid-brown thermowood finish and the most natural-looking Aluwood color. Each panel carries six thermally modified pine slats on a powder-coated aluminum backing that protects the wall behind it.

Aluwood gives exterior walls the warmth of real wood with far less upkeep than traditional cladding. Use it for full facades, garages and outbuildings, patio and outdoor kitchen walls, privacy screens and covered ceilings.

Color and care

Left untreated, the slats gradually weather to a silver grey. Apply a water-based oil once a year to keep the brown tone.

Installation

Build a vertical framework at about 31" spacing, add the aluminum finishing trims around edges and openings, then mount each panel by screwing through its aluminum backing. Matching trims cover the bottom starter, inside, outside and end corners, window sills, the top edge, level wall capping and an insect screen. Most walls are finished in days. Samples

Order a sample cut from a real panel and hold it against your brick, render or trim before you choose. Wood is a natural material, so grain and tone vary from slat to slat.
