About PG049 Fog Batiste — Texture

PG049 Fog Batiste features a soft, finely woven textile-inspired pattern in warm ivory, pale beige, and light fog-gray tones. The surface is composed of extremely thin horizontal and vertical lines that intersect to create a delicate crosshatch or linen-weave effect.
The pattern is intentionally irregular rather than perfectly uniform. Some threads appear darker, thicker, or slightly interrupted, producing subtle variations that resemble natural fibers, faint slubs, and loosely woven strands. Scattered short linear marks and overlapping thread clusters add depth without creating a strong directional motif.
Overall, the design has:
  • A warm off-white to creamy background
  • Fine beige and muted gray woven lines
  • A subtle linen, gauze, or batiste fabric appearance
  • Low contrast and minimal visual movement
  • A light, airy, organic character
  • A matte, softly textured finish

From a distance, it reads as a calm, neutral surface. Up close, the intricate grid and irregular fiber details become more visible, giving it a refined handcrafted textile quality suitable for understated, contemporary, coastal, hospitality, or minimalist interiors.
