DP004 Lost City — Texture

DP004 Lost City presents a abstract surface built around balanced neutral and mid-tone hues. Its design is characterized by layered marks, tonal variation, and restrained visual movement, giving the pattern a distinct identity while remaining practical for large-scale interior applications.
The composition balances recognizable material cues with the repeatability of decorative laminate. Variation across the surface creates depth without requiring a strongly directional installation, allowing the pattern to work on cabinetry, casework, furniture, feature panels, and other commercial or residential components.
Overall, the design has:

• A palette centered on balanced neutral and mid-tone hues
• A abstract visual character
• Layered marks, tonal variation, and restrained visual movement
• A durable decorative surface for horizontal or vertical interior use
• Suitable for contemporary, hospitality, workplace, retail, and residential settings

From a distance, it reads as a cohesive architectural finish. Up close, the smaller tonal shifts and pattern details become more apparent, adding material richness without the maintenance requirements of the natural surface it references.
