Interlam Art Diffusion Amoeba is a dimensional decorative panel characterized by an energetic, biomorphic surface pattern. Hundreds of short, curved lines move across the panel in different directions, creating an irregular composition reminiscent of amoebas, cellular structures, fingerprints, or organisms viewed beneath a microscope.
Rather than forming a rigid geometric repeat, the pattern flows naturally across the surface. The spacing, curvature, and orientation of the grooves vary throughout the design, giving the panel a handcrafted and continuously evolving appearance.
The recessed and raised portions of the design create a layered play of light and shadow. Under direct or directional lighting, the edges of the curved forms become more pronounced, increasing the apparent depth and movement of the surface. Under softer lighting, the pattern becomes more understated while still maintaining its tactile quality.
Amoeba works especially well in contemporary, organic-modern, and artistic interiors where a conventional geometric wall treatment may feel too structured. The design can be used as a full-height architectural feature or incorporated into smaller custom applications.
The warm beige finish shown in the reference image gives the panel a natural, sand-like appearance, but the pattern can also be finished in other colors to coordinate with the surrounding interior while preserving the original geometry and dimensional texture.
