Natural Wood Acoustical Panels

Obersound is a natural wood acoustical panel composed of a wood veneer laminate, Oberflex, applied to a medium density fiberboard (MDF) substrate. The panels are then perforated with decorative patterns inspired by natural or textile related elements to attain design interest and the perforation combined with special installation technique provides the acoustical sound absorption. Unlike conventional acoustic panels that are not valued for their aesthetics, Obersound combines the beauty of natural wood with superior sound control.

Product Highlights:

  • Resistant to stains, impact, scratches and abrasion
  • High UV resistance and a Class A fire rating
  • NRC values range from .65 – .95 (with proper installation techniques)
  • The raw materials are PEFC and FSC (mixed sources) certified
  • Applications: wall and ceiling panels
  • Available in standard panels sizes:
    • 120 cm (47.24″) x 249 cm (98″)
    • 60 cm (23.62″ x 249 cm (98″)
    • 40 cm (15.75″) x 249 cm (98″)
    • 18 mm (0.7 in) thickness.
